Welcome to the website of the Preston and District Vintage Car Club.

If you have an interest in Vintage (pre 1930) and Post Vintage vehicles (1930 to 1940) then PDVCC is the club for you. If you are fortunate to own such a vehicle then even better. You will find a warm welcome from like minded people, eager to offer advice, encouragement and company for the furtherance and use of you treasured possession.

Although we are named Preston and District Vintage Car Club our membership is drawn from a much wider area, extending north to the Lake District, south to Cheshire and east to the west pennine moors. We even have members from over th'ill in Yorkshire

Likewise our social calendar attempts to encapsulate those areas, hence we rotate our venues to allow those who do not wish to travel great distances to still keep in touch with the membership.

Whether you want to enter into competition, drive your car in the company of others, enter light hearted, non competitive treasure hunts and scenic runs or just chat with friends about your interest over a pint or a meal, PDVCC can offer all of those. If you just want to be involved in the vintage car movement, we are always looking for marshals to help on our events. No previous experience is necessary. If any of the above is of interest to you, go to our "contact us" page and enter your details. One of our committee members will get in touch.

At PDVCC we cater for all makes of vintage and post vintage vehicles. We are not a 'one make' club and welcome anyone with a genuine interest in using and enjoying their cars. There exists a wealth of knowledge and experience within the membership which is freely given to all who need advice whether it be of a technical nature or otherwise.

If you are of a sporting nature, you will not be disappointed. The Club programme of events includes timed road rallies and off-road trials. If you prefer the purely social aspects of vintage ownership then these are adequately catered for in our calender of events. We also have a very active young contingent in the club who regularly compete and enjoy the club social activities

Throughout the winter months, Sunday walks and Tuesday socials are arranged. Check our events page for more details.

The year culminates with the Annual Dinner, at which awards for the year's activities are distributed. This includes competitive, marshalling, literary and photographic awards to name but a few.

We have a committee which meets monthly to ensure that a full programme of events are run in conjunction with the requirements of the MSA. If you require any further details a member of the committee will be happy to help.
